Materials:
Stamp Zia's Nature word stamp
- Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Tanzanite, Ruby
and Blue Topaz
- Yupo paper and white glossy cardstock cut
into rectangle to fit word stamp
- dark purple and lavender cardstock
- mica tiles from USArt Quest
- Brillance ink pad - Victorian Violet
- Purple netting
- white glue
- double-sided tape for layering papers
- black matboard for backing
1) Seperate Mica piece into thinner pieces
and sprayboth pieces with Jewels. Drop salt onto one mica sheet.
Dry both pieces with heatgun.
2) Sponge Jewels onto Yupo paper and air
dry. Stamp Nature word onto Yupo paper.
3) Lay Mica pieces color side down and overlap as desired.
4) Apply glue at top and bottom between
pieces and around edges to adhere to paper. Glue netting to surface
and stamped word.
5) Layer cardstock colors and finish with mounting art on matboard.
