Try punching multiple holes from the outside edge of the mat board and then again from the inside edge of the board.
Place foiled paper scraps behind the holes to glitz it up! This technique adds texture, depth and detail the Zia way!

Tassle no Hassle...
Punch a hole in a piece of mat board to create and hold a tassel! Take a "hank" of fibers and fold them in half. Push them through the hole where they are folded in half from the front of the hole using a stretched out paper clip as a needle...then pull the fiber hank "ends" back through the "loop" that was pushed through the front of the hole. Pull fiber hank tight to snug up the half hitch knot.
