Materials:
Zia's Hot Jewel - Mango, Ultra Color Wash Jewels - Obsidian,
Amethyst and Garnet
Zia's White Sparkle Embossing Powder and white pigment ink
Watercolor paper #140 - 2 pieces - 6" x 4" and sheet
3 x 3"
Patterned red paper mat (Dollar Store FIND!)
Colored pencils and colored markers
Small paintbrush
Paper towels
Permanent black ink - Document Ink or India Ink
Paper adhesive, scissors and heat gun
Technique:
1) Stamp Disk fish image on small sheet of watercolor paper using
black permanent ink . Dry with heat gun.
2) Color fish using variety of colored pencils and colored markers.
Cut out all fish image and set aside.
3) Spray Zia's watercolors on larger piece of watercolor paper
and gently blot with a paper towel. Dry with heat gun.
4) Stamp theWater Plant on dry, painted watercolor paper in white
pigment ink and emboss in Zia's White Sparkle Embossing Powder.
5) Paint water inside all leaves and then "lift" color
out by blotting with paper towel. Paint inside leaves with Garnet
and dry with heat gun.
6) Adhere this piece to back of patterned red paper mat.
7)Arrange fish on top of mat and glue down.
