Materials:
Zia's Chroma Spray -COAL
Zia's Metallic Flows - Sterling Ice and Gold Leaf
Black core mounting board - 20" x 12"
Watercolor paper #140 - four pieces - 6" x 3" and sheet
8" x 10"
Mulberry-style art paper - light blue (approx. 20" x 12")
Colored pencils and colored markers
Permanent black ink - Document Ink or India Ink
Paper adhesive, scissors and heat gun
Technique:
1) Stamp all fish images on sheet of watercolor paper using
black permanent ink . Dry with heat gun.
2) Color fish using variety of colored pencils and colored markers.
Cut out all fish images and set aside.
3) Place 2 - 6" x 3" paper pieces side by side and
stamp the Large Zia Stem over both pieces in permanent ink .
Dry with heat gun.
3) Scribble Sterling Ice Metallic Flow on a non-porous surface
. Press each of the four pieces of 6" x 3" watercolor
papers into the Metallic Flow lines until each piece has some
silver on it. Dry with heat gun. Repeat with Gold Leaf Metallic
Flow on all four pieces in the same fashion.
4) Spray Chroma Spray - COAL onto all four stamped pieces, leaving
some areas "unsprayed". Dry with heat gun.
5) Color in Zia stem leaves with lime green colored pencil. Highlight
around branch edges using teal colored pencil.
6) Tear art paper to fit "inside" black core mounting
board and glue down.
7) Arrange all 4 panels on top of torn art paper and glue down.
8)Arrange fish ontop of panels and glue down.
