Zia's Chroma Spray -Iris and Teal and Color Wash Jewel - Ruby
Watercolor paper #140 - 5 x 7"
Round cross stitch plastic template/stencil - available in Zia's
Texture Tricks
Prisma Palette Colored Pencils - Light Aqua, Black, White, Yellow
Chartreuse and Dahlia Purple
Permanent black ink - Document Ink or India Ink
Clear pigment ink and Zia's White Sparkle embossing powder
Bleach pen
Small watercolor brush
Heat gun
Technique:
1) Spray Chroma Sprays Iris and Teal generously over watercolor
paper and dry with heat gun. Spray Iris over round stencil in
a few places and dry with heat gun. Splatter water and Ruby Color
Wash Jewel over paper surface with a small watercolor brush and
dry with heat gun.
2) Stamp bug and netting as shown in permanent black ink and
dry with heat gun.
3)Stamp Snake Coral in clear ink and emboss with Zia's White
Sparkle powder.
4) Bleach out bug body with bleach pen and dry with a heat gun.
Color the bug and some of the netting openings using colored
pencils. Highlight around bug and stencil shape in black colored
pencil.
