Nature Set - Swan Chop, Zia Quilt Design Lines and

Materials:
Color Wash and Ultra Color Wash Jewels
Watercolor Paper - 4 x 6" and 3 x 4"
Black Card stock 5 x 7"
Orange Decorative Paper 4 1/2 x 5 1/2"
Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencils
India Ink
Bleach pen
Plastic Snowflake and plastic fern used as stencils
scissors and adhesive
Technique:
1) Place plastic fern on top of 4 x 6" watercolor paper,
spray over it with Sapphire and Blue Topaz, dry. Remove fern.
Place plastic snowflake on top of same paper and spray with Fire
Opal, dry. Cut off 1" edge with deckle and stamp quilt line
in India ink.
2) Place plastic fern on top of smaller piece of watercolor
paper and spray with Ruby and Fire Opal, dry.
3) Stamp Swan chop in India Ink on smaller paper, dry.
4) Using Bleach Pen, bleach out swan, dry.
5) Trim chop. Save left-over edge of paper.
6) Color areas around chop with Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencils.
7) Mount chop on to 4 x 5" background and sneak the left-over
thin strip under chop horizontally.
8) Scribble a line with orange fluorescent colored pencil.
9) Stamp Beauty word vertically in India ink on background paper.
10) Mount onto orange decorative paper and then mount onto black
card stock, leaving bottom area open to glue quilted line paper
piece.
