Nature Set - Marsh Iris Chop and Large Palm Fronds
Materials:
Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Citron
Ultra Color Wash Jewels - Sapphire, Malachite
Watercolor Paper - 2x4" and 5 x 8"
Black card stock and orange marbled art paper
Bleach pen
orange, blue and yellow fluorescent colored pencils
India Ink
scissors and adhesive
Technique:
1) Spray small watercolor paper with sapphire, dry with heat
gun.
2)Stamp Marsh Iris Chop in India ink onto painted paper, dry.
3) Using Bleach Pen, bleach out all leaves and iris, dry.
4) Color Iris in orange colored pencil. Mount trimmed chop onto
black card stock and then onto orange marbled art paper. Tear
bottom edge of art paper.
5) Spray large piece of watercolor paper with Sapphire, Citron
and Malachite, dry.
6) Stamp large palm fronds in India ink onto painted paper, dry.
7) Highlight areas with colored pencils.
8) Mount chop to background paper.
9) Sneak a thin strip of scrap watercolor paper under lower part
of chop and secure with glue.
