Earring Geisha Chop, Zodiac Chop (Pisces) and Quilt
Design Lines
Materials:
Color Wash and Ultra Color Wash Jewels
Watercolor Paper - 8 x 5"
Black Card stock
Zia Resist
Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencils
Gold ink and embossing powder
India Ink
Calligraphy Marker - black
Bleach pen
Mylar ribbon with holes used as a stencil
scissors and adhesive
Technique:
1) Scribble Zia Resist onto watercolor paper, dry.
2) Spray paper with various colors of the Jewels, dry. Spray
over ribbon stencil, dry.
Remove Zia Resist.
3) Cut 2-1/2" off top of paper and stamp Geisha chop in
India Ink, dry.
4) Using Bleach Pen, bleach out Geisha face.
5) Color areas of chop with Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencils.
6) Trim chop leaving thin border and "mark" border
with black Calligraphy pen.
7) Stamp Quilt Line Designs on background paper in gold ink and
emboss in gold.
8) Scribble a vertical "design on right side of paper with
Calligraphy pen and Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencils.
9) Stamp Pisces Zodiac Chop on black card stock in gold ink and
emboss in gold. Cut out chop.
10) Glue both chops on to background paper. Add "Scribble"
in upper left corner with Zia's Fluorescent Colored Pencil -
yellow.
