Materials:
Color Wash Jewels - Citron and Blue Topaz
Metallic Flow - Gold Leaf
Powdered Pearls - Copper and Opal Gold
Dove Blender
Watercolor Paper - 4 x 2"
Black Card stock to mount Chop on and for card pieces and backing
Glossy Paper - 5 x 6"
Purple card stock - 2 x 4"
Resist Ink Pad
India ink
Turquoise and Charcoal Dye Ink pads
Cotton squares
scissors and adhesive
Technique:
1) Stamp Ginkgo Chop in India ink on watercolor paper, dry with
heat gun.
2) Spray paper with Citron and Blue Topaz, dry. Trim to edge
of stamped image.
3) Squeeze out a couple of scribbles of Gold Leaf on your table
and press stamped watercolor paper into it and dry.
4) Highlight parts of the Ginkgo leaves using the Dove Blender
and Powdered Pearl - Copper. Set aside.
5) On glossy card stock stamp Large Ginkgo Leaf using the clear
resist ink pad. Dry with heat gun. Rub over entire paper surface
using a cotton square and the charcoal dye ink.
6) Stamp the Large Ginkgo Leaf in Turquoise dye ink on the
glossy paper. Then stamp the Ginkgo Stick - DAY in India ink
in the lower portion of the glossy stamped paper.
7) Stamp the Large Ginkgo Background in India ink on the purple
card stock. Dry with heat gun. Highlight areas of leaves with
Dove Blender and Powdered Pearl - Opal Gold.
8) Cut purple card stock to a 2x4" rectangle and attach
perpendicular to back of water colored chop as in example.
9) Mount black card stock to back of Ginkgo chop and on both
edges of purple paper as in example.
10) Trim glossy paper (approx. 4 x 51/2") to fit as background
behind the stamped images. Mount on black card stock (approx.
6-1/2 x 4-1/2").
