Stamp Zia Stamps:
Large Iris, Large Night Fern, "With Sympathy" word
stamp from Greetings Set and Zodiac Chops
Materials:
Watercolor Paper
Black/white marbled paper
Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Tanzanite and Blue Topaz
Meduim size watercolor brush
Document ink
Black Calligraphy marker
White pigment ink and embossing powder
Colored pencils - yellow and lilac
Bleach pen
Glue stick
Technique:
1) With a brush, randomly paint water on the
watercolor paper. Do not do this "thinly", let the
water be a "puddle"!
2) Spray Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Blue Topaz and Tanzanite over
paper surface. Dry paper, but not water puddle with heat gun.
Blot up excess water with paper towel.
3) Stamp Iris in Document or India ink on paper. Dry with heat
gun. Using bleach pen, bleach out selected ares of Iris.
4) Stamp 3 Zodiac Chops in a vertical row on marbled silver paper
in Document or India ink and cutout row.
5) Stamp "with sympathy" phrase on paper in Document
or India ink. Dry with heat gun.
6) On Iris stem draw 3-4 lines for thin leaves with calligraphy
pen.
7) Stamp Night Fern around bottom edge and up the left side of
the paper in white pigment ink and emboss in white.
8) Highlight Iris with colored pencils.
9) Glue with glue stick vertical Zodiac Chops to upper right
corner of paper.
10) Sign your art card!
