Stamp Zia Stamps:
Autumn Chop, used as a Spring image and Leo Zodiac Chop
Materials:
Watercolor Paper
Plastic fern
Chalk palette - orange and hot pink
Zia's Ultra Color Wash Jewels - Sapphire, Amethyst, Malachite
and Obsidian
Zia's Color Wash Jewel - Citron and Emerald
Medium size watercolor brush
India ink
Black, orange, yellow and blue colored pencils
Technique:
1) Scribble over the paper surface using orange,
yellow and blue colored pencils.
2) Stamp Autumn chop and Leo Zodiac chop with India ink on watercolor
paper. Dry with heat gun.
3) Spray Zia's Ultra Color Wash Jewels over paper surface using
from the top going down, Sapphire, then Malachite, then Amethyst,
then Citron and finally Emerald. Dry with heat gun.
4) Lay plastic fern down over paper surface and spray with Obsidian.
Dry with heat gun.
5) Using plain water paint the inside of the Autumn chop. Let
the water sit for a minute and then carefully blot off with a
paper towel to "lift" some of the color. Dry with heat
gun.
6) Highlight areas with chalks (orange and hot pink) using your
finger.
7) Highlight darker fern areas with black colored pencil.
8) Sign your art card!
