Stamp Zia Stamps:
Spiked Nautilus, Marbles, Large and Small Nautilus
Materials:
Watercolor paper
Black cardstock
Glossy paper
Resist ink
Color coordinating dye inks
cotton squares
Zia's Color Wash Jewels
Document ink
Water spritz bottle
Chalk palette
Bleach pen
Scissors
Glue stick
Heat gun
Technique:
1) Spray water first to cover paper surface
then add Color Wash Jewels - Tanzanite, Emerald, Blue Topaz and
Citron onto watercolor paper. Let colors mix and run together.
Dry with heat gun.
2) Stamp two Small Nautilus Shells and one Large Nautilus Shell
on painted paper surface in Document ink and dry with heat gun.
3) Spray the same Color Wash Jewels onto glossy paper, going
a bit heavier with Citron. Dry with heat gun and then spray glossy
paper surface with water.
4) Stamp Spiked Nautilus on painted glossy paper. Using bleach
pen, bleach out inside of image. Trim image to a square and mount
on black cardstock.
5) Stamp three marbles in resist ink on glossy paper, dry with
heat gun and then apply matching dye inks to stamped marbles
with a cotton square. Cut out marbles. Glue them to card surface.
6) Highlight areas of Nautilus Shells with chalks.
7) Sign work art card!
