Materials:
Stamp Zia Stamps:
Bird of Paradise - Right
- Zia's Ultra Color
Wash Jewel - Obsidian
- Watercolor paper
- Small watercolor brush
- Spray bottle with
water
- Colored markers -
bright blue, orange, hot pink , lime and emerald green and yellow
- Black pigment ink
and Zia's Black Sparkle Embossing Powder
- Heat gun
Technique:
1) Stamp Bird of Paradise
on watercolor paper in pigment ink and emboss.
2) Spray water over entire surface then spray Obsidian around
outside edges of paper, tilting card as you spray to let the
color run into the wet paper surface. Dry with heat gun.
3) Using small paint brush with water, paint a section of the
flower then apply colored marker around edge of section and let
the marker color "bleed" into the wet surface. Repeat
this until entire flower/stem are colored.
4) Sign your work!
