"Zia's Pine Heron"

Stamps: Heron DAY - Right, Zia Pine - Right and Philodendron. Materials: Black pigment ink and embossing powder, pale yellow dye-based ink pad, colored pencils and Twinkling H2O's - Blue Grass, Mustard Green and Egyptian Gold. Technique: 1) Stamp Heron in black ink and emboss in black on watercolor paper. Paint inside of image with water and then drop in Twinkling H2O's (all 3 colors are used). 2) Stamp Zia Pine around paperedges in black ink and paint branches with Mustard Green. 3) Stamp Philodendron in pale yellow Dye ink all over paper. 4) Spatter surface using a toothbrush and a "watered down" Blue Grass.
