Stamps: Zia's Fire Dragon DAY - Right Document Ink Chalk sticks Zia's Watercolor Paper 140# Zia's Custom Palette of Twinkling H2O's heat gun, watercolor brush (round #6) and water container Technique: Pre moisten your Twinkling H2O's with a couple drops of water or mist the paint surfaces with water. 1) Completely cover the background of your watercolor paper with chalk. I select one color at a time and color 3-4 areas with that color by rubbing the chalk into the paper in a circular motion with my finger. Continue with this technique, switching colors until the entire background is covered with softly blended chalk colors. 2) Stamp the Fire Dragon onto the chalked watercolor paper with Document ink and dry with heat gun to set ink. 3) Paint the inside of the Dragon with clear water. Drop a color at a time into the wet paper surface, working fast enough to let the next color blend and bleed into the previous color. You may have to re-wet areas that are too dry to have the paint colors "move" on the surface. Dry thoroughly. The beauty of this art card comes from the paints mixing with the chalks and contrasts perfectly with the chalked background! 4) Sign your art card!
