Using a complimentary color scheme, stamp
this summer scene to welcome the season! |
|
The Mat- |
|
|
Stamp Zia's Large Night Leaf Pair stamp
on the mat surface using a combination of "green" pigment
inks and embossing powders on each leaf pair. Add Small Day Leaf
Pair where a less solid image is needed. Make sure to turn the
Leaf pair stamp to change the "direction" and to "fit"
leaves together. Leave 50% of your mat background unstamped. |
|
The Water Lily Sphere- and Koi |
|
1. |
Stamp the Large Water Lily Sphere onto
white card stock using the pine pigment ink. Throw both the turquoise
and the Aqua embossing powder over the inked top portion of the
stamped image to get a variegated "watery" look. Emboss
the lower lily area in green powder. |
|
2. |
On the remaining cardstock, stamp 2 Large
Koi and 1 Small Koi in pine pigment ink and emboss in green. |
|
3. |
Use watercolor pencils and colored markers
to accent and fill in leaf/flower areas and Koi. |
|
4. |
Cut sphere out and mount onto Magenta paper
circle. Cut out Koi and arrange on top of mat, glue down. |
|
5. |
Glue jade paper to the back of the mat
opening and then center the magenta edged sphere to it and glue
down. |
