Technique: |
- By using a few stamps and limited colors
create a cattail-styled landscape on your mat. Keep the "weight"
in the lower 1/3rd of your mat.
|
|
The Sphere- |
- Stamp Cattail sphere in brown dye ink
onto cork paper. Color image with chalks and markers. Trim and
mount on coordinating art paper.
|
|
The Mat- |
- Stamp the cattails in clusters of 2-3
in the lower ½ if the mat in black pigment ink.
|
- Emboss cattail "tops" in
rust and the stems in gold and/or copper powders.
|
- Randomly stamp the Night Ginkgo Sticks
in black pigment ink and emboss in gold.
|
- Randomly stamp NDR's Night Swirl Leaf
in gold pigment ink. To achieve the "shadowed" leaf
imagery, do not re-ink your stamp image every time it is stamped.
