- Stamp Zia Stamps: Large Day and Night
Fern, Large Iris, Luna Moth
- 14 x 14" white mat with 6"
square opening and chipboard backing
- Art Papers - Awesome Art Paper - Fernmania
(7" square), 1 sheet of white card stock
- Pigment Ink - White
- Dye Inks- emerald green, mint green
and pine green
- Embossing Powders- White
- Bruynzeel Pastel pencils
- Heat gun, adhesive, scissors

Using pastel pencils, color and stamp this
garden scene to welcome the summer! |

The Mat- |
|
|
Stamp Zia's Large Iris 5-6 times in pine
green dye ink on the mat surface. Stamp over and around the Irises
with Zia's Large Night and Day Ferns using a combination of green
dye inks. Stamp over "heavier" areas with the Night
Fern in white pigment ink and emboss in white powder. Color the
Irises with a combination of pastel pencils in pink, fuchsia
and magenta. Color around the outside of the ferns in the "background"
spaces with a combination of green pastel pencils. Use your finger
to blend and move the pastel colors around.
Make sure to leave some open, unstamped space near the top of
your mat. Keep the color, images and "weight" in the
lower 2/3rd's of the composition. |

The Center- |

|
- Stamp the Luna Moth onto white card
stock using the pine dye ink. Color the image with pastel pencils.
Cut out Luna Moth and set aside.
- Cover the square mat opening with Zia's
Awesome Art Paper - Fernmania. Adhere the art paper to the back
of the mat opening.
- Glue Luna Moth on top of art paper.
- Sign your work!
