"Zia Silk Fan"

Materials   Stamp Zia Stamps: Small and Large Zia Orchid. Silk and bamboo fan available from Stamp Zia Zia Resist Sapphire Blue and Turquoise liquid acrylic paints (diluted with 1/3 water to 2/3 paint) in spray bottles Fabric Markers Black pigment ink Black Zia Sparkle embossing powder Ivory tassel Blue glitter glue Green metallic rub-on color Glue gun, heat gun Technique:   The Fan- 1. Scribble Zia resist over silk fan surface. Let dry thoroughly. 2. Spray diluted liquid acrylic colors on silk fan surface. Let dry thoroughly. 3. Remove Zia Resist by rubbing over resist lines with your finger. 4. Stamp a Large Zia Orchid on the right ½ of the silk fan and two Small Zia Orchids in black pigment ink and emboss with Zia Black Sparkle 5. Color the orchid images with fabric markers and embellish with glitter glue. 6. Rub green metallic rub-ons onto the bamboo fan fronds. 7. Glue tassel to fan back with glue gun 8. Sign your work!
