- THE FERNS- After gathering, pressing
and drying fern fronds, spray the fronds with black spray paint.

away excess laminate material.

Zia Black Sparkle. Color Heron Head with gray magic marker. Cut
"background" of Heron image out with X-acto knife.

gold crinkled paper to fill-in the X-acto cut-out area. and then
mount on 7 x 7" black cardstock. Glue gold photo corners
in each corner of mounted image.
|
- Cover mat opening with marbled art
paper selection and glue down to back of mat. Glue mounted Heron

to "sneak"laminated fern sections under borders.

them down to mat and art paper background.
|
- With remaining teal strip, cut and
glue small rectangles in "strategic" places on the
mat surface.
