- Stamp Zia Stamps: Large Starscape Sphere,
Klimt Branch and "stars" word stamp
- 16 x 20" white mat with circular
opening and chipboard backing
- Art Papers - Awesome Art Paper - Nautilus
for mat opening, white cardstock, blue-foiled paper
- Doc Martin's Spectralite Paints - misty
blue, turquoise, magenta
- 4 spray bottles
- White pigment ink, white and silver
embossing powders
- Powdered Pearls - Sapphire, Opal Purple
and Turquoise
- Heat gun, adhesive, scissors

The Mat- |

1. |
Spray the mat surface with water and then
spray each Spectralite color (diluted with 50% water onto the
wetted mat surface. Tilt the mat board to help the colors run.
Use a paper towel to catch the excess paint runoff from the edges
of the mat board. Dry painted surface with a heat gun. |

The Mat Surface- |

1. |
Stamp 8 to 10 Klimt Branches in white pigment ink and emboss
with white and silver powder. Add the "stars" word
stamp in areas that are not covered with the branch image in
white ink and emboss in silver. |

Cover the circular mat opening with Awesome Art Paper - "Nautilus". |

The Sphere |
|
1. |
Stamp the Starscape on white cardstock in white ink and emboss
in silver powder. |
|
2. |
Color the open areas of the stamped image with powdered pearls
by applying them with a blender pen. |
|
3. |
Cut out your finished sphere and mount it onto the blue foiled.
Trim it create a ¼" border. |
|
4. |
Mount the foil-backed sphere to the center of the paper covered
mat opening. |
